The Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office Seeks Help in Locating a Homicide Suspect: On October 14th, 2024 at approximately 8:41 am, FBCSO deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 5400 block of FM 762 Rd., Richmond, Fort Bend County, TX. Upon arrival, deputies discovered a deceased female inside the home. The incident is being investigated as a homicide related to domestic violence. The victim has been identified as Anyi Montealegre Izquierdo, a 23-year-old female. The suspect has been identified as Jhon Vanegas Romero, a 24-year-old male. The victim and suspect were living together in the residence. FBCSO received information on the evening of October 14, 2024 of a possible sighting location for the suspect. Overnight, SWAT teams searched the area of the 2200 block of Richmond Street in Needville, Fort Bend County, TX for the suspect. The suspect has not been located at this time. Anyone with information on Romero's whereabouts is urged to contact Fort Bend County Crime Stoppers: (281) 342-TIPS (8477). Use caution and do not attempt contact with Jhon Vanegas Romero. This is an ongoing investigation, and further updates will be provided when available.
